The non-denominated Sailboats stamps are available at the postcard rate and are issued in panes of 20 as well as in a coil format. The word “POSTCARD” printed on the stamps signifies their usage value. Similar to Forever stamps, these stamps will always be valid for the rate indicated on them.
“The Postal Service is delighted to unveil its new Forever stamps commemorating the 100th anniversary of Charles M. Schulz’s birth, the beloved creator of ‘Peanuts’… the most popular and influential comic strip in history,” said Luke Grossmann, the Postal Service’s finance and strategy senior vice president, who served as the stamp’s dedicating official.
The stamp, which is being issued in booklets of 20, panes of 20, and coils of 100, 3,000, and 10,000, bears a straightforward graphic design of the red, white, and blue. Providing a solid foundation for the flag are the word FREEDOM in a gray slab sans serif font and, below it, FOREVER / USA in a smaller sans serif font. The manner in which the text is positioned suggests the endurance of freedom as a core value.
To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the first Love stamp, we are proud to introduce two new Love stamps, each showcasing a heartwarming scene. One stamp features a playful kitten, while the other showcases an adorable puppy, both resting their front paws gently on a large heart. The word “LOVE” is elegantly displayed in bold, capitalized letters behind each endearing animal.
The “Otters in Snow” stamp collection is a delightful set of stamps that captures the playful and alert nature of the North American river otter in a winter wonderland. This booklet contains 20 stamps, each featuring one of four charming scenes of otters frolicking in the snow-covered landscape.
